Our Redbones Last Wednesday Monthly Poetry Nights continue with our August featured poets, Melenin and Black Hustle.  For those who love Spoken Word, this night is for you!!

Omar “Melenin” Ryan, has been writing for the past 14 years and has performed at a number of poetry occasions in the corporate area. His intention is to use the word to inspire, motivate, teach and reach the uninspired. He enjoys reading, reasoning, writing, giving of time to benevolent causes and exploring nature.

Denver “Black Hustle” Robertson is a wordsmith by all rights of the trade. Elevating from a ghost writer for some of dancehall’s most prominent artists and creative writer for ad agencies, to becoming a performing and recording artist of multiple genres of music and poetry.  We’ve seen him grace many platforms performing impactful works on TV, radio and countless stages, also receiving multiple write ups in local papers. After gathering much acclamation through his spoken word, Black Hustle has since started a record label, production/ promotions company and talent management firm known as BSG (Big Spliff Gang) which creates opportunities for unique talents in Jamaica.
