Taitu Heron is a gender and development specialist and human rights advocate who occasionally does performance poetry. Both her poetry and politics encompass issues of gender relations and identity, the quality of citizenship, human dignity, African-centred spirituality and post-colonial politics.  In her day job, she works with UN Women as the national programme coordinator for the Jamaica Programme Office.

Carina Natalie Rose is a project officer at CIBC First Caribbean. She is a 24 year old free-spirit, a philanthropist and a lover of the arts. She has been writing poetry since the age of 7. Her works have been published in the Teenage Observer. She is a voice-over talent and hair style enthusiast. She is sensitive to women issues, love and relationships.
