Orange Hill Records PRESENTS a fresh and dynamic LIVE musical showcase set  featuring our recently signed and hugely talented roster of artistes, at RedBones Blues Café this Saturday, showtime 8 pm. The NEW SOUND OF JAMAICA has been in production for almost a year, and this event is the culmination of these many months of work in the studio.
The showcase will launch the new EP ‘She Believed’ by hugely talented singer/songwriter Ari Lopez, and the Orange Hill Records ‘Hip Hop and RnB Sampler 2015’, which includes tracks by OHR artistes: soulful singer Timmy J, hip hop’s Gamble G and G Kennedy. The opening set will feature LIVE performances by all these artistes in solo tracks and collaborations. Already gaining traction in the international industry as the hottest acts coming out of Jamaica, this event is the launchpad!
OHR Reggae artists Distant Plant, aka DP, and Freedem, recently booked for dates in Canada, will also perform, to open for a special guest performance by  The Wizard, Nazzy Hammond, who has worked with Nelly Furtado, Michael Franti, Kreesha Turner and Paulia Rubio, and local reggae greats BeenieMan and Marcia Griffiths. With her first solo EP released earlier this year, the Wizard will be performing, with viral sensation and ‘set to be’ the hottest sound in dancehall Chedda.
Exciting and fresh, this new sound is already attracting international interest, and is enriching the local music scene with the sounds of R n B and Hip Hop, LIVE!
