This is Literature for Mature Audiences.

The annual Late Night Lit is risqué yet classy; humorous yet thoughtful; wide-ranging but focused and decidedly determined to make going out to a top-notch nightspot for literature as natural and engaging as hitting the town for a concert or the theatre.

The 2016 edition promises a blend of styles. From the research of Dr Karen Carpenter through to the humour of Tony ‘Paleface’ Hendriks which is wittily insightful about the human psyche that most enduring of topics – sexuality and the relationships around it – will be explored extensively. But the ins and outs of ‘big people business’ is not all that will be on the literary menu for Late Night 2016, when the children have been put to bed and it is the adults’ time to enjoy the word, with Andrew Stone, Carla Moore, Michael Abrahams and Tanya Batson-Savage. And there will be a surprise excerpt from a relationship revue!
