Dr. Kathy Brown is an outstanding Jamaican pianist, jazz instrumentalist and medical doctor, routinely captivates her audiences with pleasing musical arrangements and delightful piano riffs. She has performed extensively locally and internationally both as solo pianist/keyboard player/vocalist, and with her band ‘Kathy Brown and Friends’ over the past 15 years. During that time she released her CD :Mission: A Musical Journey featuring a variety of local musicians. Kathy plays contemporary Jazz, Latin, African, Reggae, Mento, Pop/R&;B and alternative styles.
Ouida Lewis is a percussionist, tap dancer, teacher and choreographer. She has performed extensively locally and internationally with theatre groups, bands/ensembles, african drumming groups -including major master drummers from Guinea, Mali and Senegal. She taught and choroegraphed tap dance to local theatre groups such as The Cathi Levy Players and has taught tap Dance and west african Drumming internationally throughout the Netherlands. She currently teaches West African Drumming and Jamaica Folk forms at a variety of high schools and colleges in Kingston and is the percussionist for the Jamaica Big Band.
