American Blues artist Burt Herrin will present his new album “Lightning Bolt”, a blend of Blues & Reggae music.  Born in Texas, he is a noted Blues guitarist and singer with over 40+ years of experience working with the likes of Taj Mahaal and Jimmie Vaughan to name a few. Lightning Bolt is part of Burt’s outreach effort to help the less fortunate through his Fed Up with Hunger Missions of Jamaica.

In 2013, Burt came to JA with The Ambassador International Missions of the Dallas Baptist University Outreach Programme to help the needy in Kingston. So thrilled and enraptured by the energy of Kingston, Burt began to write and with the help of Tuff Gong Studios’,Roland McDermott, producer Michael “Boxie” Howell and noted musicians such as Dean Fraser, Bongo Herman, Aston “Family Man” Barrett, Nikki Burt, Kirk Bennett, Paul “Wrong Move” Crossdale, he created this album.

Fed Up With Hunger Missions of Jamaica is a non-profit organization championing the cause of the needy with special focus on children & single mothers. It is the outreach arm of Global Warming Records LLC of Texas, USA.
